Pure Colombian 75% Type B/ 25% Barranquilla

This is a project my good friend Buddy Young invested 10 years in and I’m very proud to be entrusted to keep alive. The Peters Type B line of pure Colombians has been bred since the 80s. In an attempt to outcross and introduce fresh genetics, Buddy bred his pure line of Barranquilla to some of the few last remaining Type B’s in his collection and in the hobby. He called the results the Honey B. This female is a product of that breeding. The male is a lone survivor of one of Buddy’s last pure Type B litters he produced. The goal of all of this is to breed back to pure type b blood and try to preserve not only the purity of the Colombian boas but the characteristics that I and many others so much appreciate within the Peters line.
